Traditional Antique Leather
The above leathers have the beautiful antiqued two tone finish.
The process of this leather is that once our Leather Chairs, Chesterfield
Sofas, etc are upholstered they then need to be antiqued by hand.
This is where you notice the mottled effect on the desk tops or
the lighter areas within the diamonds of our upholstered furniture.
This process is achieved by taking the top layer of the leather
away and then re-sealing it, speeding up the natural wearing process
of the leather which will naturally become lighter with age.
The effect is the Traditional Antique look which has always been
associated with English Reproduction Furniture.
Crystal Leather - Rustic/Distressed Looking Upholstery
Below you will see a selection of our Crystal Leather:
The above leathers are a beautiful quality soft leather and give
our Traditional Deep Button Upholstery and Chesterfield Sofas a
more contempory and rustic look & feel.
This particular leather is a lightly buffed, pull-up leather finished
with a blend of oils and waxes to achieve a cracked, almost distressed
finish.
